Cascade Springs

Eric and Heidi invited us on an outing to Cascade Springs, up American Fork Canyon. It was so pretty, with the leaves just changing. We had lots of fun!

Molly running down the path, trying to keep up with Tiana. With her track record, we thought for sure she was going to crash (it was slightly downhill) but she stayed on her feet.Molly and TianaDaddy and Molly...isn't it pretty? We cannot get Molly to look at the camera and smile. Ever. But she sure thought something Heidi said was pretty funny!Tiana and Molly getting a closer look at some bugs.Justin made the girls some walking sticks. I think Molly's was a little too big but she loved it. Of course, it took us triple the time to walk back to the car because she had to use her walking stick. We tried to show her the easy way (holding it towards to top of the stick) but she had to do it her way, which was definitely the harder way (holding it more towards the middle or bottom and then having to bend all the way over for it to hit the ground)!Another attempt to get Molly to look at the camera..no luck here!Cascade Springs was higher up in the canyon than Eric and Heidi thought so instead of backtracking down AF Canyon, we continued on the Alpine Loop and came out through Provo Canyon. The views were gorgeous, although we didn't enjoy it as much as we normally would have-it was way past dinner time and some little 2-year-old sure was letting us know that she was hungry!

Those pictures ARE gorgeous. How I love the fall. **sigh** The walking stick pictures are hilarious. Aren't they supposed to aid you in walking? I am sure that was not the case for Molly. LOL.
